Do I need to come in with a script?
No. We handle the prep work: guest research, questions, run-of-show, scripting when needed. You show up ready to record because we’ve done the work beforehand. Teleprompter is available when you need it.
What if I have my own editor?
That works. Many clients use us for the studio and production, then take raw files to their own post-production team. We’re flexible: full-service or just the record, depending on what you need.
Do you work on-location or just in-studio?
Both. Our Mission Hills studio near Downtown San Diego is ideal for podcasts and controlled shoots. We also bring full production capabilities to your office, event venue, or anywhere you need us.
We don’t have an internal production team. Can you handle everything?
Yes. This is most of our clients. We work directly with you or your team to handle everything from prep through delivery. No internal expertise required.
How quickly can we get started?
After our initial consultation, most clients are recording within 2 to 3 weeks. Rush timelines are available for urgent projects.
Do you offer ongoing rates?
Yes. Clients with regular recording schedules, such as monthly podcasts and ongoing content programs, get volume pricing. Let’s talk about what you’re planning.
Do you rent the studio by the hour?
Yes. Hourly studio booking starts at $350 per hour with a 4-hour minimum. You get the studio, crew, and equipment, with raw files included.
Do you use AI in your process?
Yes. We use AI tools for research, scripting, SEO optimization, and content planning. It makes our prep work faster and more thorough, which means you get better results for less. The creative direction and final decisions are always human.
Do you offer podcast production near Downtown San Diego?
Yes. DIA live.studio is located in Mission Hills near Downtown San Diego and offers multi-camera podcast production, audio recording, teleprompter support, guest prep, and optional post-production.
Can you film at our office in San Diego?
Yes. DIA live.studio offers both in-studio and on-location video production for offices, event venues, conferences, and corporate spaces throughout San Diego County.
What areas do you serve?
Our studio in Mission Hills is convenient for clients from Downtown San Diego, Hillcrest, Little Italy, Old Town, North Park, La Jolla, Del Mar, Carlsbad, Chula Vista, and surrounding San Diego County communities. We also travel on-location throughout Southern California.
